Album Notes & Community Reviews
David Jackman's enigmatic project manipulates acoustic sound sources into dense, terrifying walls of cavernous drone. 'Vacant Lights' utilizes bowed metals and heavily processed field recordings to construct a bleak, impenetrable atmosphere. It remains a deeply revered cornerstone in the development of dark ambient and industrial noise.
