Album Notes & Community Reviews

Silent Planet's fourth studio album, 'Iridescent', fuses ambient, cinematic soundscapes and technical metalcore with moments of mathcore chaos and electronic textures. The album's lyrics delve into deeply personal and socially relevant themes, drawing heavily from vocalist Garrett Russell's experiences with mental health. It marks a significant point in the band's evolution, introducing explicit language and new clean vocal contributions from Russell and guitarist Mitchell Stark, while also being the final record to feature bassist Thomas Freckleton.
