Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a radical stylistic departure, the album integrates traditional African rhythmic motifs and roots reggae into the band's established pop-rock foundation. The arrangements prioritize high-impact percussion and socially critical lyricism regarding racial and economic inequality in Brazil. It serves as a definitive document of the band's move toward a 'Third World' aesthetic, prioritizing structural variety and cross-continental sonic exchange.
