Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping out from his legendary role as Muddy Waters' primary pianist, Otis Spann takes the helm on 'The Blues Never Die!'. The album features Waters himself (credited as 'Dirty Rivers' due to contractual reasons) providing guitar support alongside James Cotton. It is a flawlessly executed, late-night masterclass in rolling Chicago piano blues and heavy, interlocking rhythm sections.
