Wake Up!

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut release from the Munich ensemble immediately signaled their intent to push the boundaries of the burgeoning jazz-rock fusion movement in Germany. The music is an abrasive, technically demanding, and highly improvisational collision of brass-heavy jazz arrangements and hard, driving psychedelic blues. It stands as a pivotal early artifact for those seeking the more complex, cerebral end of the Krautrock spectrum.
