Album Notes & Community Reviews
Mike Kinsella's second solo album under the Owen moniker further distanced him from the complex midwestern emo of his previous band, American Football. Embracing an incredibly intimate, predominantly acoustic approach, the record is steeped in complex fingerpicking and brutally honest, self-deprecating lyricism.
