Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Baltimore instrumental trio's debut is a masterclass in abrasive, structurally complex math rock. Consisting of two dueling guitarists and a drummer, 'Oxes' entirely abandons vocals to focus on erratic time signatures and jagged, stop-start dynamics. The record captures their infamously confrontational, high-energy live sound in a raw, unpolished studio setting.
