Biography
Baltimore instrumental math rock trio formed in 1999, consisting of guitarists Marc Miller and Natalio Fowler and drummer Christopher Freeland. Oxes mixed jagged, tightly wound riffing with stage pranks as part of the Baltimore Rowdy Collective, releasing their debut album on #Monitor Records# in 2000 and 'Oxxxes' in 2002. Their 2000 split with *Arab on Radar*, on which Oxes secretly played both sides, remains their best known stunt.
