Album Notes & Community Reviews
The tragic final studio appearance of legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads before his untimely death, 'Diary of a Madman' is an absolute triumph of neoclassical heavy metal. The album balances Ozzy's dark, occult-laced lyricism with Rhoads' breathtakingly technical, highly melodic, and fiercely energetic hard rock anthems.
