Album Notes & Community Reviews

Parquet Courts' 'Light Up Gold' is a sharp, witty, and energetic slice of modern post-punk. The album races through short, punchy tracks filled with motorik rhythms, jagged guitars, and stoned, observational lyrics about city life. It captures the restless energy of being young and broke in New York, drawing comparisons to The Fall and Pavement.
