Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded as a profound tribute to Wes Montgomery, the acclaimed jazz guitarist delivered a stunningly fluid, highly technical post-bop masterclass. Backed by a remarkably sensitive rhythm section, Martino's blistering runs and sophisticated harmonic language perfectly update the traditional jazz guitar trio format for the early 1970s.
