Originating from a remote BBC radio session, 'Greyhound Days' documents the collaboration between saxophonist Patrick Shiroishi and keyboardist Piotr Kurek, blending ambient, experimental, and jazz sensibilities. The album is built upon a delicate interplay between Shiroishi's sonorous, lyrical tenor saxophone phrases and Kurek's spacious, atmospheric digital piano and synthesizer textures. The work balances spontaneous expression with intentional, tender compositions, creating a sound that is both calming and melancholic.
