Album Notes & Community Reviews

Integrating a far more accessible, radio-friendly rock production without sacrificing her fiercely intellectual edge, Patti Smith scored a massive commercial breakthrough with 'Easter'. The album features her iconic Bruce Springsteen collaboration 'Because the Night', delivering a wonderfully melodic, passionately poetic, and distinctly urban blend of art rock and punk energy.
