Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Todd Rundgren, Patti Smith's fourth album slightly softens her chaotic punk poetry into a highly polished, deeply melodic art-rock reflection. 'Wave' remains a remarkably energetic, fiercely conscious record, brimming with deeply passionate homages to her heroes and an undeniably uplifting, romantic optimism.
