'Wowee Zowee' is a sprawling, intentionally chaotic and highly eclectic masterwork of 90s slacker rock. Pavement gleefully bounces between noisy, surreal punk outbursts and melodic, slightly melancholic alt-country, showcasing Stephen Malkmus's deeply playful and sarcastic songwriting.
