Album Notes & Community Reviews
The virtuosic bassist of Wigwam stepped out for his solo debut, creating a whimsical and highly melodic masterpiece of jazz-rock fusion. Featuring prominent contributions from fellow Finnish jazz luminaries like Jukka Tolonen, the compositions brilliantly balance complex Zappa-esque technicality with pastoral, distinctly Nordic melodic sensibilities. It established Pohjola as a premier composer and instrumentalist in the European progressive sphere.
