Marking their formal entry into independent recording via their own 3DOT label, the album features some of the project's most expansive and aggressive material. The arrangements prioritize dramatic orchestral layering and complex rhythmic shifts, notably on the 16-minute opening track 'Reptile'. It conceptually addresses themes of environmental collapse and human insignificance through a high-fidelity and structurally ambitious extreme metal lens.
