Periphery

Periphery is an American progressive metal band formed in 2005, widely recognized as one of the pioneers of the djent movement. Founded by guitarist Misha Mansoor, the band's sound is characterized by polyrhythmic complexity, extended-range guitars, and a blend of aggressive intensity with melodic and ambient passages. Their self-produced debut album, 'Periphery', was released in 2010 on #Sumerian Records#, establishing their intricate style. Subsequent albums like 'Periphery II: This Time It's Personal' and the ambitious double album 'Juggernaut: Alpha' and 'Omega' further cemented their status. In 2019, they founded their own label, #3DOT Recordings#, releasing 'Periphery IV: HAIL STAN' and continuing to push their creative boundaries.
