Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pete Brown's second album with Piblokto! extends the lyricist's post-Cream work into longer, looser arrangements shaped by British underground rock. 'Thousands on a Raft' is noted for Brown's surreal verbal style and for the band's mixture of blues-based weight, extended instrumental passages, and theatrical progressive structure.
