Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released strictly on cassette, the Van der Graaf Generator frontman takes a radical detour into tape manipulation and dark ambient soundscapes. 'Loops and Reels' is an entirely instrumental collection of brooding, experimental drones and cyclical synthesizer patterns. The album highlights his profound studio ingenuity and stands apart from his famously intense, vocal-driven rock catalog.
