Lion

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced entirely by Killing Joke's Youth, the iconic former Bauhaus frontman delivers an incredibly aggressive, heavily synthesized, and deeply cinematic late-career album. 'Lion' brilliantly surrounds Murphy's remarkably powerful, fiercely passionate baritone with incredibly dense, highly mechanical industrial rock production and sweeping orchestral flourishes. It stands as a profoundly dark, wonderfully nocturnal, and surprisingly futuristic gothic rock triumph.
