Vertebrae After Vertebrae

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating within the modern goregrind scene, the Japanese duo Pharmacist delivers their third full-length album, expanding upon their forensic obsessions with sharper, thrash-leaning compositions. The record balances raw, visceral brutality with complex instrumental precision, utilizing relentless mid-tempo grooves and guttural vocal interplay reminiscent of the genre's early British pioneers. It stands as a meticulously constructed exploration of pathological themes, anchoring its chaotic, dissonant leads within a tightly controlled rhythmic framework.
