Love in Us All

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This live album perfectly captures the two sides of Pharoah Sanders's musical personality: the fiery, avant-garde explorer and the soulful, spiritual guru. The album features two side-long tracks, one a joyous, accessible vocal chant ('Love Is Everywhere') and the other a deep, intense, and exploratory instrumental dedicated to John Coltrane. It's a key document of Sanders's live show in the mid-70s, showcasing his ability to connect with an audience on both a spiritual and a visceral level.
