Album Notes & Community Reviews
The spiritual jazz icon returned with a profoundly warm, accessible session showcasing his unmistakable, overblown tenor saxophone style. 'Oh Lord, Let Me Do No Wrong' tempers the furious free jazz of his early career with deeply grooving soul-jazz arrangements and highly melodic vocal tracks. The album is widely celebrated as a mature, soulful testament to his enduring spiritual devotion.
