Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ending an agonizing eight-year studio silence caused by severe label disputes, the revered Queens emcee delivered an incredibly dense, philosophically rich boom-bap opus. The record heavily incorporates live gospel and soul instrumentation to frame his elite, complex vocal phrasing and deeply conceptual street narratives.
