Biography
Pharoahe Monch is a Queens rapper, born Troy Donald Jamerson, famed for his intricate internal rhymes. One half of *Organized Konfusion*, he went solo with 'Internal Affairs' (1999) and its hit 'Simon Says' on #Rawkus Records#, and remains one of hip-hop's most respected technicians. Rappers from *Eminem* to *Black Thought* cite his technique as a benchmark, and his verses are studied the way jazz solos once were: for rhythm, invention and control.
