Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Roxy Music guitarist constructed a brilliant, entirely instrumental solo album utilizing cutting-edge drum machines and layered guitar loops. 'Primitive Guitars' traverses a wide array of styles, from atmospheric progressive rock to Latin-inflected rhythmic pieces, heavily featuring the innovative use of the Roland TR-808. It serves as a fascinating showcase of his distinctively textural and highly processed guitar technique.
