Album Notes & Community Reviews

Glen Johnson's ever-shifting musical collective adopted a profoundly gothic and ethereal tone on this concept album concerning the tragedies of World War I. 'Artists' Rifles' utilizes sparse guitar work, subtle electronic beats, and sweeping, cinematic chamber-pop arrangements to craft an overwhelmingly melancholic atmosphere.
