Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fifth studio album from the Boston-based indie rock quartet continues their mastery of shifting dynamics and structural unpredictability. The recording highlights Rick Maguire's intricate, dissonant guitar chord progressions and anguished vocal delivery, moving fluidly between quiet, lonely slowcore moments and chaotic post-hardcore outbursts. The record is widely regarded as a benchmark of modern American underground guitar music.
