Produced by Alex Newport, the third studio album from the Pennsylvania quartet refines their sludgy, confrontational noise-rock attack. Matt Korvette's vocals remain a sneering, sardonic focal point, cynically detailing the mundane miseries of aging, office jobs, and male pattern baldness over punishingly heavy, slowed-down hardcore riffs. The record perfectly balances 1980s 'pigfuck' abrasiveness with wry, relatable everyday frustrations.
