Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Battle for the Sun' marks a conscious shift for Placebo toward a brighter, more anthemic brand of alternative rock. Incorporating prominent horn sections and massive, stadium-ready choruses, the album steps away from the claustrophobic glam-goth of their earlier work. It is a heavy yet optimistic record that emphasizes driving energy and melodic grandiosity.
