Album Notes & Community Reviews

Hastily assembled for the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival, this performance effectively served as John Lennon's first major public departure from The Beatles. The unrehearsed supergroup, featuring Eric Clapton and Klaus Voormann, delivered raw renditions of early rock standards alongside jarring new compositions like 'Cold Turkey.' The set's second half is entirely devoted to Yoko Ono's avant-garde vocal feedback experiments, making it a highly polarizing but historically significant countercultural artifact.
