Album Notes & Community Reviews

Named in honor of the radical feminist Shulamith Firestone, 'Shulamith' expands the Minneapolis-based band's dark, rhythmic synth-pop aesthetic. Channy Leaneagh's heavily processed, autotuned vocals glide over dual drumming and throbbing electronic basslines, resulting in a hypnotic, R&B-inflected approach to modern indietronica. The record features notable vocal contributions from Bon Iver's Justin Vernon.
