Recorded over three days in January 2002 at Christof Amann's studio in Vienna, 'Wrapped Islands' was the first Polwechsel release built entirely from free improvisation rather than composed material. Werner Dafeldecker, Michael Moser, Burkhard Stangl and John Butcher are joined by guest guitarist Christian Fennesz.
