Biography
Viennese guitarist and electronic musician whose albums 'Hotel Paral.lel' (1997) on #Mego# and 'Endless Summer' (2001) defined a melodic strain of glitch. Working with granular synthesis, he processes guitar and field recordings into radiant, damaged textures, and has collaborated with *Ryuichi Sakamoto* and *Jim O'Rourke*. Later records including 'Black Sea' (2008) and 'Agora' (2019) extend his balance of noise and lyricism.
