Album Notes & Community Reviews

This album served as Pond's international breakthrough, capturing a relaxed and organic sound recorded on a farm in rural Western Australia. 'Beard, Wives, Denim' successfully balances the band's heavy psych-rock impulses with the pop sensibilities explored on 'Frond'. Its warm, sun-drenched atmosphere and memorable hooks earned widespread critical acclaim, establishing them as a major force in modern psychedelic rock.
