Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pivoting sharply from their indie-pop roots, the British band violently collided alternative rock guitars with emerging hip-hop sampling techniques. 'Box Frenzy' operates heavily on repetitive drum loops, sarcastic pop culture references, and a distinctly irreverent 'grebo' attitude. The chaotic mashup of styles laid a crucial foundational blueprint for the industrial dance and rap-rock movements of the following decade.
