Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio album from Aaron Maine's primary musical vehicle is a distinctly messy, guitar-driven affair that predates his later synth-pop evolution. 'Slow Dance in the Cosmos' wallows in the lethargic, fuzzy aesthetics of 90s slacker rock and lo-fi bedroom pop, marked by his signature warbling, highly emotive vocal delivery. It is a defining artifact of the gritty, emotionally fraught New York DIY rock scene of the early 2010s.
