Porches

Biography

Porches is the solo alias of Pleasantville, New York singer and songwriter Aaron Maine, active since 2010. Though early shows used a live band, the records are Maine's own home made work, moving from the guitar led 'Slow Dance in the Cosmos' through the synth pop of 'Pool' and 'The House' to 'Ricky Music', 'All Day Gentle Hold !' and 'Shirt' on #Domino#. His intimate, Auto Tuned vocals and diaristic writing about anxiety, love and solitude define the project, with occasional guests rather than permanent band members.
