Tarquin's Seaweed Farm
by Porcupine Tree
Originally intended as an elaborate joke project, Steven Wilson recorded this debut cassette entirely alone in his bedroom studio. Blending long, sprawling psychedelic instrumentals with deeply satirical fake band history, the music draws heavily from 1970s space rock and Krautrock experiments. What began as a pastiche ultimately evolved into one of the most significant modern progressive rock careers.
