Album Notes & Community Reviews

Paddy McAloon largely utilized this release to reclaim and record songs he had previously written for other artists, including Jimmy Nail and Cher. 'The Gunman and Other Stories' pairs his impeccably lush, romantic sophisti-pop arrangements with a surprisingly pronounced American country-western thematic influence.
