Album Notes & Community Reviews

Present pushed the already dark boundaries of avant-prog to terrifying new extremes with this incredibly complex, entirely instrumental masterwork. 'Le poison qui rend fou' is built on aggressively dissonant piano lines, heavy bass, and relentlessly shifting, unpredictable time signatures. The album cultivates a deeply suspenseful, cold, and ominous atmosphere reminiscent of pure psychological horror.
