Biography
Present is a Belgian avant-progressive rock group formed in 1979 by guitarist and composer Roger Trigaux, a founding member of *Univers Zero*. Its dark, repetitive and rhythmically complex chamber rock made it a central Rock in Opposition band. Early albums 'Triskaidekaphobie' (1980) and 'Le Poison Qui Rend Fou' (1985) were followed, after a reformation in the 1990s, by 'Certitudes', 'No. 6', 'High Infidelity' and 'Barbaro, ma non troppo'. Trigaux died in 2021, and the band completed his final work as 'This is NOT the end' (2024).
