Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran Scottish rock act drastically pivots from the classic rock and blues revivalism of their previous album to embrace remarkably sleek, heavily synthesized pop music. The record features unexpected guest appearances from Sky Ferreira and HAIM, wrapping Bobby Gillespie's typically political lyricism in glossy, radio-friendly hooks. It stands as a surprisingly infectious, highly modern detour in their long-running career.
