Album Notes & Community Reviews
Long before their electronic reinvention, Primal Scream debuted with a pristine, unabashedly retro tribute to 1960s psychedelic pop and the Byrds. The album is drenched in twelve-string Rickenbacker guitars, tambourines, and incredibly warm, melodic vocal harmonies crafted by Bobby Gillespie. 'Sonic Flower Groove' is a bittersweet, deeply romantic, and highly melodic touchstone of the British jangle pop movement.
