The Desaturating Seven

Inspired directly by a 1978 Italian children's book about color-eating goblins, Les Claypool leads the trio through their first album of original material featuring the classic lineup in over two decades. The record is a bizarre, heavily conceptual progressive rock opera, utilizing frantic bass-slapping, polyrhythms, and strange, storybook narration. It acts as a wonderfully eccentric, deeply progressive return to form.
