Album Notes & Community Reviews

Prince fully unleashed his wildly provocative, sexually explicit genius on his third studio album, practically inventing the synthesizer-driven 'Minneapolis Sound'. 'Dirty Mind' is a remarkably tight, fiercely energetic fusion of new wave and funk, delivering incredibly rhythmic, playfully vulgar dance-pop anthems that completely blurred the lines of gender and genre.
