Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving as a tidal wave of experimental pop and funk, 'HITnRUN Phase One' finds the legendary musician heavily collaborating with co-producer Joshua Welton. The project incorporates modern electronic dance trends, EDM flourishes, and dense synthesizer textures into his established Minneapolis sound. It stands as one of his most radically contemporary and production-heavy late-career releases.
