Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as an uplifting, spiritual counterpoint to the withdrawn 'Black Album', 'Lovesexy' is a dense, joyous exploration of funk and pop rock. Prince intertwines themes of religious salvation and raw sexuality over complex, brass-heavy arrangements, initially releasing the CD as a single, continuous track to enforce a holistic listening experience.
