Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming up with legendary rock-and-roll producers Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Procol Harum noticeably stripped away their symphonic grandeur for a more direct, R&B-influenced rock sound on 'Procol's Ninth'. The album polarized fans by moving away from elaborate progressive structures, highlighted by the hit single 'Pandora's Box' and surprisingly straightforward covers.
